Okay, So Who Wants To Be A Realtor?

I Do! I Do! Remember the enthusiasm of the third grade? When you knew you knew an answer you couldn't wait to be the one to announce it? The answers may not be coming as easily today as they were then but I'll bet you'll agree that you know more about Real Estate than the next guy!

So, use that knowledge. Don't be afraid to analyse and give a good hypothesis! You are the Professional in this business. People in general want to know what you think.

Should I list my home? Is it worth this much? If the market is down will it still sell? How much should I realize? What will you do for me?  Why should I list with you? What makes you different than the others?

Can you answer these questions with authority? Are you confident in your answers? Are you offering your opinion when a potential client thinks they know all the answers? Are you willing to go head to head?

Use your knowledge.

Use your license.

Use your experience.

Don't give up.

Real Estate Shaken or Stirred.....

Are we all living and drinking a Martooni? I mean a Martini? The "behind the scenes" Real Estate market is so drunk you don't know what it's going to do. It's stumbling drunk. One hand simply doesn't seem to know what the other hand is doing!

One of my dear clients has been trying to save her home. I have it listed and have been showing it. The property is awesome without question.

She went to great lengths to retain an Attorney to either negotiate a refinance or at least stave off the wolves till she could sell. She verified with the BAR (legal...not the drinking kind) that the man was legit. He guaranteed his services to the tune of $2,500.00.

The lender agreed to work with her and she was told to be patient. It would work out fine.

Yesterday she got home to find a certified letter stating that the house is scheduled for sale on the courthouse steps.

She contacted her lawyer to find that he had "moved offices" without a forwarding address or phone number.

She told me her head was spinning. Was she shaken or stirred? What's going on out there?

Making a sale has never been this much fun!

My dear cousin Ruby asked me to help sell her Time Share  in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. She listed it several times before even costing her out of pocket money with no results. The fees had risen dramatically since her original purchase and due to age and health she could no longer enjoy it.

Ruby wanted me to go for her week in her bungalow on the beach to take photos and in turn I would market the deed for her. Could I say no to this one? Not a chance.

The girls and I had the time of our lives!

From the moment we arrived I knew I would have a difficult time breaking away to try and sell it! I just wanted to go play and bask in the sun.

We climbed 203 steps to the top of the Ponce DeLeon Lighthouse. The 360 degree view was phenomenal. The colors off the prism of the actual light were lovely.

The Lighthouse was built in 1876 and has been meticulously conserved. The climb was worth it.

We met Randy on the beach and he turned out to be quite the artist! He introduced himself as sandy Randy~lol.

Now, you are probably wondering how I got around to selling the Time Share. There were a couple of really nice ladies in the Bungalow next door all the way from Canada! We watched a couple of sunrises together. We shared wine, ice cream and many laughs.

We formed a friendship and "VOILA", over she walks to tell me she decided to purchase the deed. Yup. I played, had a ball, didn't miss a moment of a good time and I CAME BACK TO TEXAS WITH THE DEPOSIT!

So, let's see...

I had the vacation of a lifetime!

I sold the Time Share and the trip is a write-off!
